We believe in supporting the communities that have embraced us. We are committed to leaving a net positive benefit in both the communities from where we source our coffee and those communities we serve.

With Heart Gloria Jeans Coffees International Foundation
The Gloria Jean’s Coffees International Foundation is a registered charity, based in Australia. With the sale of each cup and through collection boxes in outlets around the world, the Foundation supports a number of local & global community partners, each working to make a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Our Global Community Partners include:

Compassion
Building on our commitment to the communities from where we source our coffee, we sponsor over 350 disadvantaged children in Brazil, one of the world’s largest coffee-growing nations, through Compassion.

OpportunityInternational
In our aim to build and change lives we provide low interest loans to foster small business and “cottage” industries to create self-sufficient villages in Asia, through Opportunity International.

Each Gloria Jean’s Coffees market will select a local partner for support via the Gloria Jean’s Coffees Foundation, and each outlet is encouraged to actively support their local community

The Rainforest Alliance
Rainforest Alliance85% of the coffee range sold through Gloria Jean’s Coffees contain beans from Rainforest Alliance-certified™ farms. The Paper stocks from our cups are from Forestry Stewardship Council certified operations.

Through a holistic approach, Rainforest Alliance™ works beyond just establishing a reasonable price for coffee to ensure decent wages for the farmers and their workers. They secure health and education for their families, as well as guaranteeing the use of sustainable agricultural practices and the conservation of biodiversity and habitats for wildlife. In 2008, Gloria Jean’s Coffees was awarded the Corporate Green Globe, recognising their long term commitment to Rainforest Alliance.

Gloria Jean's Coffees also support businesses with heart

Water For Water
Water For Water
Almost 1 billion people don’t have access to safe drinking water and approximately 3.5 million people, mostly children, die every year from water-related diseases. Through the sale of 100% natural bottled spring water, Water For Water will provide practical and financial assistance to communities who lack access to clean water.

Water For Water is an Australian owned and operated organisation that commenced its partnership with Gloria Jean’s Coffees in January 2010.
